Dickensian Theme

Imagine the sight of historical London at Christmas time, this is where we begin with our stunning panoramic backdrops depicting Dickensian Christmas scenes. Complementing this we add a 3-dimensional Dickensian street façade complete with back-lit windows and doorways with many props to dress up the scene including assorted tin baths, large free standing candelabra, original cart wheels, fully operational lampposts, bicycles and lifesize cut-outs of Sherlock Holmes and Doctor Watson.

Streets and alleys can be created against a beautiful backdrop of London at night which is illuminated with pea lights to give the feeling of street lights in the distance. We can create pub frontages complete with pub signs and original large old beer barrels, shop fronts such as a bakery with a bread stand, and a florist shop with an ornate flower cart on wheels outside, a toy shop, Scrooges office etc. These sets are further enhanced with props such as Victorian street lampposts and penny farthing.

Costermongers barrow selling apples and pears, assorted crates, boxes and trunks, decorated christmas trees, cut-out characters of Bow St runners and street urchins, snow blankets and powdered snow to decorate props. The above set would be further enhanced with white fairy lights and colour washed lighting effects. We can even provide an eerie graveyard with our lifesize 3-dimensional gravestones and you can surprise your guests with our lifesize 3-dimensional knights in suits of armour.
